01 / About Ian

A life in ballet.
A world to bring
to the studio.

From The National Ballet of Canada and Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo to London’s West End, Ian’s work begins with the experience of being onstage.

That perspective shaped nine years on the artistic staff of Canada’s National Ballet School, teaching, coaching, creating choreography and developing curriculum. A recipient of the Betty Oliphant Award, Ian brings a performer’s eye, a teacher’s attention and a choreographer’s imagination to the dancers he works with.
